Privacy Policy

This policy describes how FareChance collects, uses, and protects information when you use FareChance Premiere.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and business name. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account.

Venue information. Information you enter about your venue — including name, address, hours, photos, and app links — is stored and displayed within the FareChance app and platform.

Campaign data. Content you create for advertising campaigns, including photos, copy, and settings, is stored and used to serve your ads within the FareChance app.

Billing information. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. FareChance does not store full credit card numbers. We retain transaction records, subscription status, and billing history.

Usage data. We collect information about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, and session data, to improve the product and troubleshoot issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Premiere platform and its features
  • To display your venue profile and campaigns within the FareChance app
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send transactional emails (account activity, billing receipts, campaign status)
  • To send optional product updates and digest emails (you can opt out at any time)
  • To analyze platform usage and improve features
  • To investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Firebase (Google). Authentication, Firestore database, and file storage. Your account data, venue information, and uploaded photos are stored in Firebase. Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Stripe. Payment processing and subscription management. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.
  • Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics. We use analytics to understand platform usage. This data is aggregated and not tied to identifiable individuals for reporting purposes.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.

4. Data Shared Within FareChance

Your venue profile information (name, address, hours, photos, deals) and active campaign content are shared with FareChance app users in your geographic area as part of the service. This is the core function of the platform — you control what information is entered.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and venue data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days before being deleted, giving you time to reactivate. Campaign performance data may be retained in aggregate anonymized form beyond that period. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
  • Export your data in a portable format

8. Cookies and Local Storage

The Premiere dashboard uses browser local storage to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Analytics data collected by Firebase Analytics may use cookies as part of Google's standard implementation.

9. Children's Privacy

FareChance Premiere is intended for business owners and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
